A real beauty. I also have made one with the Edge box. What's the scale length?

Thanks Brendan , its a gibson scale at 24 5/8 , with 24 frets . Too much , next time I'm not going to use all the frets maybe 17 or 19 . I don't thinks there is a real nead to go that high of a scale , with that many frets. Thanks for your imput .

Looks like you're off to a great start. Nice looking build. I like using the door pulls also. Have used them on almost every build so far.

I started with 3 string fretless (made 4) CBG's then started making 4 string fretted ones (made 5).
Started making two 3 string fretless today for the guy who ordered a 4 string fretted and then changed his mind. The customer is always right.

Yeah folks, don't let this guy fool ya. He's really better than he would have you think. We got on video chat tonight and he showed me some of his banjos. NICE stuff. Solid workmanship. I like the gas can banjo. This is "his first CBG" build.

Those boxes are much better for wound pickups... the wood in the tops are thick and "porous?" and tend to dampen the sound when a piezo is used as a pickup....

Thanks for the support Wichita Sam , your words of wisdom will not go unheard just as soon as I can make one on the cheap or get one the same (HUMMER) . Thanks for all , do we have a addiction hot line yet ? Was already thinking about next build before I could finish the first one .
