  • I have a couple more designs that I'll be making, I'm hoping soon to complete my first two and have their pictures posted on here

  • One solution is that most guitar stores sell individual strings. If you really get into bulk building, www.juststrings.com is a great resource for strings at reasonable prices. They will make any custom set as long as you purchase10 packs. Enjoy.
  • Build 3 one stringers.

  • I've done just what Diane suggested, but without a pickup. Just use what you got and tune it till it sounds good. I like the unwound strings better than the wound for my unplugged cbg, is that common?
  • Assuming you used the three smallest strings, build another instrument with a larger box and a pickup and use them in that one!

But generally I buy singleton strings in the sizes I want.
