Read more…i got a fonseca box that i want to make an acoustic out of. the lid is pretty thick and gets thicker near the middle. the bottom however is a thin peice of wood. I'm leaning in the direction of the bottom as the sound board. suggestions please.

Read more…What kind of glue would you recommend to bind well the fret wire into the neck? I am using SM fret wire but I guess my saw is a little to think so I need to bind the wire into the slots...
I've read a few posts about using hole punch to cut a small circle out of a guitar pick and use it as a fret inlay.
I was looking for some other alternatives. I read somewhere else that you could actually use solder to fill an inlay hole in a fret
