2014 Pennsylvania Cigar Box Guitar Festival?

Is this happening? I can't find any info.. maybe I missed it BUT I actually planned my vacation around this.. meaning I'll stop in on my way back from 5 days at the beach with the family.. Yep the wife doesn't know what she's getting for her money and making me go.. I gotta get something out of it..

    The Facebook page is public and visible to anyone, you DON"T have to have a Facebook account to be able to see it.

    I have put an announcement front and center on the Nation homepage, and have shared the event to the Nation and C. B. Gitty facebook pages. We have also been mentioning it in the C. B. Gitty and Cigar Box Nation newsletters. 

    I don't organize or run the festival, I am just the primary sponsor. As others have noted, Jim has been a bit under the weather this year, but things are coming together and the festival is definitely happening. We'll be there with bells on.

    Dan...  Thanks for explaining the situation.. I or we didn't understand who or whom was taking the lead as organizer for the York Festival... As for me I took it that since Gitty bought Cigar Box Nation he took over as lead organizer for the York Festival.... my mistake, Thanks again...

    I checked with Shane, and he told me that Jim (York Emporium Bookstore owner) had a pretty serious heart attack earlier this year, and he has been kind of slow getting things taken care of.

    Shane said he will try to get something put together....stay tuned.

    Sure seems to be less hype about this years fest? Is there less interest? I enjoyed last year's. brought stuff from a couple of vendors & it was well attended.

     The festival is definitely on. It is scheduled for Saturday, August 23 at the York Emporium in York, PA (same venue as in past years). I haven't gotten a lineup yet.
