Fret board

Hey ya'll Max again. I have yet to make a guitar with a fret board. My next build is going to have one. What is the rhyme and reason for the spacing in between the frets? Thanks!

Hey Dianne. I am from Barnesville Ga. Near Macon and am now in Colorado. My family use to go to Jekyl a lot when I was a kid and my dad and I would go every year for golf for the for many years. The Crab Shack on St. Simons had unbelievable sea food. I think it was St. Simons. It might have been Sea Island. One of them. Many good times there. I do miss the Ga. coast. See you around. Max
