"The way the fretboard ends over the box really adds to the look and the oversized headstock balances everything out nicely. Cool uke Rob!"

How did you learn about Cigar Box Nation?
I've been looking at cigar box videos for a couple of years before I began building. It became quickly apparent the Cigar Box Nation is the center of the CBG Universe.

Hi Rob!   Thanks for the compliment.  I'm a ukulele man and just testing the CBG waters.  As for the dye, I spent about thirty bucks on Evil Bay.  Great stuff, but don't go buying some.  I still have lots remaining, so you can borrow some of mine.  Cheers, Bookie

Thank you, Rob. You, too. I mostly like making them. When I play it's usually a little baritone that's got a Spruce top, Rock Maple sides and back, a Maple neck and Sapele fretboard. The Rock Maple was a bitch to bend (I do it by hand over a heated cast iron pipe), but it has a really bright tone. I'm curing an all-Koa instrument now. Very excited about that one. Take care!
