Thanks, Dave! I’ve been playing about 15 months, now, with no previous music experience. I kinda tried guitar lessons in my early 30s, but it never clicked. Somehow, the banjo in my late 40s has.

The strings are nylgut. Aquila brand, maybe. They’ve been on that instrument since I built it a year ago. I tend to play it as much or more than my nice production instrument.

Great claw hammer Trevor. I’m struggling with that technique. You do it very good. Nice banjo too. Gut strings?
