I decided to try something a little different. I took a "Rockband" video game controler, gutted it, removed the plastic neck and replaced it with a poplar neck with a fretless oak fretboard, cbg style. I made a new pickguard with a single coil from Gitty, and shaped the headstock to fit the plastic one, replacing half of the "tuners" with real ones. Nut and bridge are acrylic. Tuned GDg.Then I gutted a practice amp and reboxed it into an old case to complete my mini-troubadour set.
