  • Thank you Hippy Chip, UJ, Bluesheart, and Dave!  Well, I guess my brother would have been Serrano Steve and my sister Salsa Susie, but we all pronounce the H in Habanera here!

    Never mind I have absolutely NO latin blood in me (my folks escaped from eastern Europe in the '40's).  I just like hot peppers!!!!

  • That is robusto.   Like your trademark headstock and all of this.   I have been wondering.  If your folks named you Habanera Hal, what are your sibling's names?   And since the H in habanera is silent, is the H  in Hal also silent?

  • beautifully done!!! I like guitars without all the unnecessary bling---just make it play!! Looking at you bridge placement, I am sure this one sounds great!!
