This isn't CBG-related per se, but it is definitely DIY.I recently built a Quaverato kit from Chicago-based Zeppelin Design Labs (ZDL). I am very pleased with the kit. In addition to being a great pedal, the company impressed me with their documentation and support. This video goes over the build process and the pedal's features along with some sound demos.

Leave to Silent Jim to come with that comment. LOL.
Agreed. It definitely has the aesthetic and the sound.
Interesting review Kale. It has the classic look of a 60-70s sound panel, which I think, contributes to the "vibes" of that period.
Thanks AD.
Cool ! Indeed , cool review !
Oh jeez. That's some hardcore stuff. Soldering a computer back in the day. You're royalty Doug. :-) Ha ha. DIY is a ton of fun for sure.
It’s always satisfying to do it yourself. Very interesting project. I’m a set it and forget kind of player, but you never know when I might break on through to the other side! This reminds me of the Timex Sinclair ZX 81 kit (1K of RAM!!!) build of my first home computer. I had a sloppy solder joint too and I brought it to an Engineer who worked at Cape Canaveral who was able to identify it and a part I soldered on backwards (I knew I had a 50/50 chance of success on that one) and I was in the personal computer game and never looked back. Excellent video!
