Not exactly cigarbox stuff. But, Jack White surprise solo 2 songs (Not Fade and Dead Leaves) and then Seasick Steve, who plays a 6 string but with only 3 strings.

  • Well let's hope he doesn't follow Henrix' steps and start touring the US by opening for the Monkeys!!!
  • Seasick Steve is huge in the U.K. and mostly unknown to the general public in the U.S. even though he was born in the U.S.    Kind of like Hendrix being from the U.S. but he made it big first in the U.K.

  • The lofi blues movement is about ready to esplode folks. Get ready for a ride.
  • Third man . I'm your third man, but it's a fact that I'm the 7 th son.
  • WoW Steve on Third man Records this should be a match made in Heaven
  • I have been a huge fan of Jack White for many years.  First guitar player I have heard on the radio in the last five or six years that was really different from everyone else and an amazing complete musician.  Seasick Steve I have only recently discovered on Cigar Box Nation and he just blows me away.
  • Both Great performers - Steve made a big impression on TV and at Glasto, Jack White's band Raconteurs were brilliant, have both albums (-;
  • I got this video from NPR actually. I think that it's awesome that Jack White signed Seasick Steve to a record deal on Third Man Records. If you check out Third Man Records web site, they have a nice little bio, etc about Seasick Steve as well. It's great to see a big named artist like Jack support real music by real people.
  • love how SSS deals with the mike problems : -)
