Vol. 4 is one of my fave Sabbath albums. I bought it when I was around 15. It was one of those albums that made a huge impression on me musically when I was young. Cornucopia is a weird song that's for sure. I always loved the drumming on it, and turns out BillWard absolutely hated that song, and claimed it was the most difficult song for him to play on that album...he had a hard time playing the beat.
Cheers Dave and Danny, StorminSteve - I use a Digitech Drop pedal to detune the guitar as it's generally in open G tuning. I think it's dropped down to C# tuning so C# G# E B I think. In this case I had tuned the lowest G string to A before dropping the tuning. I like to make things complicated for myself. It's easier to detune using EADG strings I think.

It does have a lot of time signature changes that song. I can see how hard it would be.

Thanks Snuffy. Cornucopia is the most evil sounding song I've ever heard!
Sounds great! I use to play this with my old band when I was young...this and After Forever and Cornucopia.
