Very cool sound. When we were kids my friend made a rotating speaker using a turntable deck with a mid-range horn mounted to it. I think the speaker leads were wired to contacts under the turntable and it really worked - 33 1/3, 45 and 78 with the gradual speed changes like on a Leslie!
