Fretless 4 string with a Don Goguen pickup. Tuned GDGB. A touch of tremolo and heavy reverb to taste.

  • Thanks Chris, very flattered by your comment. I may try my hand at something this winter. In the middle of getting ready to move here soon though. Not really a song writer but I'd love to do an album of some kind. There's a few people I'd like to colab with as well.

Again, thanks for the kind words. Really do appreciate it.

  • Man... You should be producing albums!!! You know ...where the end user downloads a song from I-Tunes!
This is "The Shit"! Cigar Box Guitars would come along way with the influence of your building and "PLAYING"!
  • I don't think Don's winding any pickups at the moment, but when he does start again I'd encourage folks to give them a try. Nice balanced tone, easy install and they look sharp too! Still have this one straight wired for now. Chances are it'll stay that way.

  • Thanks Jim, Nancy, Keith and Noisemaker. Much appreciated!

  • Very moving. Another example of "less is more". Greatly done!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Thanks Vinnie.

  • you play so few notes and yet they are so powerful,You inspire me greatly as a player, both musically and tonally.I'm a busy kind of player and every time I hear u play ,it teaches me somethin...thanx for sharing306131223?profile=RESIZE_1024x1024"Catchin Air Vinnie "..approved....salud

  • Thanks Slowpaw.

  • Superb...! ***** (-:

  • Thanks for all the very kind comments.

    Oily, you nailed it.

Maddog, just be yourself and let the notes ring out nice and clear. It's amazing how 3 or 4 notes played with feeling can move you and others.

Turtle, practice yes but not the conventional way I guess. Again, it's just easier and more fun for me to go with it.
