I videoed this to sample for my self how I will sound in KC. Of course it's more relaxed playing in my den than at the fest. Truth is, I will be very happy if I can do this well at the fest.I have on a Bletherhawk tee shirt, from My UK friend Brian Pearce. He hosts a fest the day before and I wish I could be there too.Best wishes to all at both fests and to those who wish they could be there!

  • Thanks, Peter and best wishes at your blues fest. I wish I could teleport over and hear you.

  • Nice, Uncle! I'll be playing a blues festival tomorrow here in Belgium but only on electric 6-string. Coco Montoya is headliner. I'm kinda nervous myself. Good luck!!!

  • Thanks and best wishes James for you and yours in your new blue ridge mountain home.

Thanks, Richey.  Lots of the players their make their living or part of it from playing.  I am an amateur wishing for a good session!

  • That was quite the medley UJ! Great job. I'll accept this as a substitute for being there on the day. Good luck with the show!

  • Fine job Uncle John I know you done well just got internet installed at our new place I can watch vids again Great job

  • Clock, you'll give me the playing in my underwear nightmare again.  Hmm.  Does Gitty sell CBG boxers or jammies?

Sammy, thanks, but I don't understand the rice thing..   Is it like if they throw eggs and tomatoes then I throw rice at them?

  • Complete tonic to hear you going through your set UJ. Looks like your old set mate. 'Give em rice buddy'.
  • Thanks, Matt.  Sounds like a good summer for you.

  • Great sound unc, sorry I been away but I am really busy this summer. Been playing some shows though, got one in a week. Then at least one in Sep. Your sound is excellent and your voice has never sounded more confident. You will kill at the fest....matt
