Wow, thanks so much Bernie! You are right - there are so many talented and unique folks on this site. I have three or four favorites that I try to never miss but I know there are many others that I just don't have time to catch.

Thanks Clock, James and Rob.Yeah Rob, this one's an octave below that d with a .013. I like twangy too for some things but this song wanted more of a "swampy" sound.

Great ! I've got Willie's spooky version on cd. Your version is more good ol' gospel ... I like it ! I like the D A d tuning also. My first build is strung with light strings (.013 is the high d) it takes a light touch with a slide but I really like twangy "hillbilly" acoustic sound it makes ! Not real loud with light strings ... I think my wife n kids kinda appreciate that !!!
