  • Yes, Chris: CCR = Creedence Clearwater revival.   A great band to sound a bit like.  

    The lyrics, "I don't want to be your man at all, I just want to be your salty dog."   Meaning one timer.  Salty Dog had other -not so clean- meanings too. 

    Like the Blind Willy Mc Tell version you found.

    Good blues by Bug and Blind Willy.
