Meica Membrane Roses Pot Funnel Banjo..needs a set up and frets so a little rough..nice and loud though.. sound deeper with funnel attached... work that one out?

Interesting sound. I can only make guesses as to why the funnel deepens the tone - I figure the funnel adds to the effective volume of the instrument, which would tend to lower the resonant frequencies of the internal space. I'm curios to hear what it sounds like without the funnel.

Many Thanks for the comments, that Meica stuffs works as a great Banjo head... I have just had a fab idea of how to build a cigar box tricone resonator!...
