  • Excellent Harold! Sounds great. No buzz! Good intonation. You got it. Robust Tone. Good pickin.

  • Thanks about the F holes and of course I love the sound. I might add a Piezo later, I would have to rebuild my cigar box amplifier first though ( was breadboarded smokey style circuit just didn't survive the move a few months back )

I always loved that angular 'S' thing from the 80s/early 90s that we all drew on our desks, notebooks etc.. dunno where it came from or anything but it works for me and happens my last name starts with S so there's that..

I get the comments in the previous video about maybe I should have filed down some of the frets, but the buzz was only on the low string and the slot for it in the bridge really was just that little bit deeper than it should've been, so that 1 string was actually angled down towards the fret board about 1/2 a degree or so - if I had used the same size nail for a nut as I had frets I wouldn't have been able to play that string open at all before the bridge swap...

not exactly easy to make out in a youtube video.

Once you get to really trying to get a low action and more proper fretting, these things really do live or die by some of the most precise amounts.

  • Has a good acoustic sound.

  • Pretty cool F holes.   Frets working pretty good.  :D
