    Thank you ALL for watching! Yes, this instrument is made of pipes. Adding additional pipe converts this instrument into a baritone clarinet, as can be seen (albeit with visual manipulation) and heard on the video "Blue Orchid". As for your question, Brian, I have no plans for a brass bedstead trombone. Sorry to disappoint. I think, however, that Professor Peter Schickele, aka P.D.Q. Bach, might have devised a similar instrument at some point. CHEERS!
