  • Thanks Nancy!  It has not been long since you were a kitten.

Thanks Owl sorry to make you cry man, but it's okay to cry.  I do it and I am a manly man

Thanks ED.  Liked your original song.

Vinyl, Linda and I looked up Jay-Z and we right away saw a lot of resemblence between you two.  Although you are bit better looking and maybe a shade or two paler.   Good on you and the misses (surely a Beyonce look alike) and you.

  •  I  heard this song long time ago when i was a kitten- u did it proud! what a good team u make, think u two need to go on tour- meowwwwwww

  • Great duo!  Fine playing and singing.

  • Yup, you're right, Waylon and Jessie is more like it. I like to think of me and the misses as the Jay-Z and Beyoncé of West Yorkshire.

  • Thanks very much folks.   And thanks for the lodging offer, Pick - I do chores- I have a honey-do list for today.   Would I need to speak French in your part of Canada?   Rum Sick Dave, I think Linda may knock on your door any day now.  She would like to see Australia.  Do as you are told and things will be okay.

Vinyl, I think I want to us to be Waylon Jennings and Jessie Colter.

I was glad Linda played the cigar box mando.  We thought to do minimal instrumentation on this song.  The (quieter than factory made) mando was about right.  I can tell now she wishes for one of those fine six strings like Skye plays.

I love this song.  If I out live my almost 85 year old momma, I will truly fell orphaned.

  • so Lindas not interested in your home made stuff huh, how'd you talk her 'round- you ol' charmer.;)

    lovin' it ..

  • Wonderful duet complete with a duo of cigar box instruments too. That was really very very nice. Nice to see a cigar box mandolin in use.

Looks like you will never be homeless, judging by previous comments.
