chuck I'll check it out but I'm not that good with solder, the pick up we fitted was already wired up to the pots but that doesn't mean it was ok to start with I suppose.
Nice playing Les. Love that slide ring too.
The popping sounds like a connection/grounding issue and is more prominent when using the slide. I searched the CBN forums and found a link to seymourduncan.com and the bottom of their main page has a wiring diagram link.
Clean the pots, check that all the solder joints are solid and confirm the wiring diagram, I'm sure you'll find something.
I tell thee, if thar can play like that then there's nar way I'd be showin' mesen up on't stage in that there Wigan! More Yorkshire than Lancashire, I'll grant, but I still might pop up for a listen one night you're all up. By 'eck yer can play though, lad, and that's for sure!

Sounds GREAT! You have talent and lots of it.
I love your clear picking and the slide ring! Great job!
PS: I am fairly certain that CJB is one of the top builders in the universe. But to my way of thinking, it's better to have one you made you self.
Mel Low. So easy and smooth. Love it. Weird, but even the title pleased me.
