This is a tiny ukulele based on the iconic Northern Ukulele that was popular in the Canadian school system in the 1960s and 1970s. This nano scale uke has a scale length that is half that of a Martin soprano. The scale length is 6.8125 inches, or around 173 mm.

  • Very cool!

  • A Bug sized beauty!

  • It’s fun to make miniatures. The wee folk love them. Nice video. I like the cloths pin clamps. I’ll try that.

  • I really like the regular northern uke.  I wondered what those little holes were for.  Nice that you tell us the disadvantage.    Hunh.  I am surprised at how good you make the tiny one sound.  Too small for me!   Good video.
