A huge diddley bow and a gas can guitar, some amazing kids singing. Talk about roots music. It doesn't get much better than this for me.

And for me it shows how the hardware we use to express ourselves is secondary to the creative urge that pushes music up and out of us into the world. I also hear in this music the roots and seeds of the blues, gospel, and rock n roll... we have all been blessed by Africa.
