  • Hey now Jim, take it easy on us bangy lovers.

  • Very cool instrument! I really like the re-purposing of objects to make art/music and you did great. But wait, you killed a banjo to make this? Reminds me of the joke, What's the difference between an onion and a banjo? Nobody cries when you chop up a banjo.

  • It does look good and it has a lot of character too.

  • Nice!

Looks cool...sounds cool... is cool. Very!

If that's your first, I can only imagine what your next one is gonna be like!

  • Good sounds!

  • I'm diggin' it man!

  • Sounds great!!

  • thanks for all the comments - I'll be sure my son reads them all :)  @Dobbin Pitch no unfortunately we didn't really document the build too much.  The grooves in the bolt and the string posts (screws) help to keep the strings seprated.  Propably should have slightly rotated each tuner a bit to help the spacing but that will be for our next broom handle model lol  I think if you are going for a pure slider the broom handle is the way to go - it sounds great and plays really nice and took a lot less time than carving a neck...plus it is sexy :)

  • Wow! Surprised by how well you were able to separate the strings on a broom handle. And it sounds pretty good just as an acoustic. Don't suppose you guys filmed the build process?

  • , yall built a fine sounding cbg !!!
