This is a hard song to play because its in 3/4 time, but its probably my favorite Kenny Rogers song so I had to do a cover on the new ukulele. I know I already posted my usual Sunday cover tune, but I had to squeeze in one more this week.

You inspired me to build my second guitar, that red devil made me do it. Now my hand has three nails in it and I’m stuck on my work bench and my wife can’t and most likely won’t hear me. A very nice tribute Poorness! I’d clap real hard if I could.
That was sad news, Kenny was such a bright light. Def learned guitar with some of his tunes. Met him at Knott's Berry Farm when I was a young 'un. Good tribute Poorness.

Don't panic Richard, just grab a pliers with your free hand and pull them nails. It'll hurt a bit, probably bleed... but you'll be right as rain soon.

I agree Derek. A lot of my childhood memories are set to Kenny's music. It was a sad day.

Thanks Danny. I can't wait to see you on the Timber stage brother. I'll be watching for ya.
Awesome job Poorness I will be performing a Kenny Rogers song at the fest at the TImber stage. I was saddened to hear of his passing.

Thanks BrianQ and James. That kit turned out pretty nice.
Dave, that's a good point. We all should be so lucky huh?
Maybe he slipped out at the right time Poorness. His music still lives and we remember him. He might have picked a fine time to leave.
