  • thanks again :-)

  • Beautiful playing, beautiful instrument, beautiful mind to think "out of the bOX" on this build! Hats off 2 U!

  • PERFECT in every detail! What a wonderful tone this instrument has! You have certainly outdone yourself with this build.
  • thanks :-) I'm currently building a Sitar sounding instrument, with movable pickups for bith the guitar strings and also the bass strings. My ugliest build so far, but it sounds nice... stay tuned...

Bill, check out my site at www.original-flatpup.com, there's loads of info about that flat pickups ;-)

  • amazing how did you make that pickup

  • ...amazing! sounds great (-:

    like the moveable flatpup...hmmm!

  • Hey Elmar. Nice to see what your "strange looking" build has finally become. Chris Fillmore plays so passionately. The pickup rail is an outstanding (re)invention - you could see this on old German jazz guitars in the 1950s.

  • Chris is a cool player and it seems he got the bug with CBG finally. He said he spent 2 days in bed playing this harp guitar and a simple 3 stringer that I had built for him ;-)

Currently I'm building a Sitar for him which basically has the same tuning as the above but with some additional resonating strings in the neck... I'm curious how that one will work ;-)

  • Hi Chris, a beautiful tune on a beautiful instrument!  That sliding pickup is a brilliant idea.  Thanks for posting

  • wow!!! really great moody playing. killer.
