Actually, I'm not the one building this -- I just came across this video and it gives the best information that I have seen when it comes to building a flatpup style pickups. For example, he used 2000 turns of 0.065mm wire and he doesn't reverse the windings but only turns in one direction (where as Elmar Zeilhofer, the original builder of the Flatpup pickups does reverse wind his - see his video on YouTube). Even his setup for winding the pickups is very informative. The music is by Juzzie smith who is from Australia and is a One-Man-Band who plays cigar box guitars. The builder is joeselsbeth on YouTube.

Good guitar, harp, vocals and hums. Pretty neat method to build. I will leave building those to other folks!
