  • I'm guessing the warmth of the guitar comes from no soundhole and 14's. I'm just really happy with the sound of this instrument. I will add that the lid on this particular box is a full quarter inch thick (which is 6.3mm, yes?) Anyway, it is a very thick top so I went with the 14's to give it a bit more string energy.  The absence of a soundhole was not  a plan, but I got everything together and noticed I had skipped that step.  It sounded good unplugged and I saw no reason to do anything extra.

  • great looking guitar and beautifully played and sung! talented family, christmas day should be amazing at your place!  (-:

  • Wow!!!....great voice...warm sounds on that CBG

  • Nice Nice Nice!!! Meowww^^

  • Good stuff

  • nice build, and your daughter has a great voice!

  • Ah yes, the Murphy's Law git. I have had a few of those myself Charlotte.

  • I felt like naming this guitar "Murphy's Law" because something went wrong with every step that would justify doing that step over. Instead I made a repair of each of my mishaps and in the end it is my best and worst.  I think it is the best sounding cbg I have made and the most cosmetically flawed.

The guitar is plugged into a Roland CM-30.  The strings are 14's which I think helps the sound, but the action is pretty low so it is playable.  When she switches back to her baritone ukulele she can really tell the difference.

  • Very nice! Great job on both the building and preformance. I enjoyed :-)

  • Charlotte makes fine gits!   Nice performance!
