this thing is so RIDICULOUSLY high pitched!!!INTRODUCING, the "crow" styled, three string slide ukulele!!!i know, it's the same open tuning, A, that i used but it's much higher than i expected!!hahahaalright, well i meant to build something this evening, and i did. it's fully playable, but i'm not sure i'll play it very much..it's a perfect sample instrument to show how my build method works though..thanks for watching, have a great day!!!

lol man i never liked musicals. in fact, about thirty seconds in to the sweeny todd movie, the intro had clearly finished.. and.. they were still singing.. "wait.. is this... a musical??" i asked. she didn't tell me it was a fxcking musical! ooh i was pissed! LOL i enjoyed the movie anyways..
to answer your question, i once bumped into a video of a huge samoan (hawiian) guy named.. hold on, have to cut and paste it...
here it is...
Israel Kamakawiwo'ole
anyway this HUGE fat hawiian guy singing "somewhere over the rainbow / it's a wonderful world" with a ukulele.. here. he was apparently a big deal, very well loved, big guy, big heart, and he died. all of hawaii mourned him, and threw a HUGE memorial canoe/surfboard wake for him, and carried his ashes halfway along the coast of the island, letting his ashes out to sea a little at a time, singing together and crying. there were throngs of people all along the beach for miles. he left a real impression.
any how, here's the link. something in me changed when i heard this the first time. maybe you'll see what i mean...
