I felt like doing something silly tonight: classic metal on a janky four string cigar box instrument. You can only play so much blues and folk, people. This ...

  • RTZ: Sharon does seem to have a real scorched-earth policy when it comes to past collaborators. I mean, the man doesn't write lyrics and he damn sure doesn't write guitar riffs, so...the official line back when I was actually paying attention to current heavy metal (we're talking 1991 or so, here) was that "Ozzy writes the vocal melodies," which I suspect was just a way current band members had of covering for him in the press while managing to stay employed. You can't tell me Geezer or Bob or whoever was writing lyrics to be used with the guitarist's riffs WITHOUT having a melody in mind. I don't know if anybody writes songs that way. Other people wrote those songs, front-to-back, and they deserve to be paid.

  • What's up Gus, sounds great I used to think Randy Roads wrote this but it came out after he died. Ozzy's wife did screw Jake Lee for the writing credit. Rock on Gus.

  • Thanks for watching, everybody. Maybe I should learn some Dio next...

  • Awesome playing! The powerpuff girl pillow makes it even cooler!
  • Awesome job Uncle Gus :-)  With just sound and no picture, I'd say you had a lot more than 4 strings in one take !

Hair.  As you get older, you acquire more knowledge.  This fills up space in your head and pushes your hair out.  As you get older still, you forget the knowledge and you get your hair back.  Unfortunately, the new hair grows out of your ears and nose, not the top of your head.  That's life, I'm afraid.

  • Gus, that's good.  I hope you and others can get the message out that this stuff is doable on CBG.

  • Slowpaw: now there's a thought...I was playing around with "Electric Funeral" on my diddley bow a while back...but "A National Acrobat" may be my all-time Sabbath track.

  • Black Sabbath and Ozzy translate very well on CBG, did a cover of "Black Sabbath" some time ago and it worked out really well - maybe a Sabbath tribute album ?  :-)

  • AWESOME  !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
