  • There is other videos from the same session I think where you can clearly see Son House loungin' and dancin' it the background so maybe you just can't see Son House. Wolf is my hero and he's a wise man.
  • Woody Mann who apparently had the opportunity to meet many of these old timers, told me that they often did not get along and where very competitive about their playing. I also heard this about the Newport Folk festival. There is footage of Skip James performing while Son House is sitting on stage too, just chatting away. I would assume alcohol is fueling this banter too. Enjoy.   
  • He was telling someone that they had a chance to do something with their life but just loved the whiskey too much. That person just keeps on talking smack in the background, is that maybe Son House? I dont know.

    Love the tune though.
