I managed to churn out 1 CBG lesson per month all year long. Here is the 12th lesson this year and I focus on how to sound good on 3-string fretless cigar box guitar (CBG) when you're still a beginner. I hope the video is helpful to someone.

Thanks Danny. I always hope these videos are helpful.
Awesome lesson
Thanks Ambrose. It is a tried and true sound for sure.
Nice tutorial Kale. Sounding good! Yes, simple and useful formula that draws out the sustainability of the slide actions while knocking out a bluesy vibe..
That's the point of this video Doug. It's pretty simple to sound like you know what you're doing with a slide. Thanks for checking it out.
I’m not a slide guy, but after watching your video Kale, I could be! Practical and playable, it sounds like you’ve been doing it all your life.
Exactly AGP... keep it simple. I think this formula is a great way to do that.
Yep!, totally agree with the use of plenty of Gain, Reverb & Effects etc, I found out very early in my journey about playing CBG's, that it certainly hides a lot of mistakes and inexperience, and of course the other thing about about playing these little 3 string critters, is using the "KISS" principle!
:-D
Thanks John. I figured this was a good one to end the year.
This is the lesson I have been WAITING FOR! Yas, sir. Reverb. Man, Kale. You do sound good. I have never much liked short slides. You make me want to get one out and try it and some of this. Cool lesson. Thanks!
