This tutorial was requested by a couple of viewers. I explain how I performed Mellow Yellow, the classic 60's hit from Donovan, on the Hobo Fiddle. This tutorial will work on any cigar box guitar (or other 3-string instrument) tuned G-D-G. It's a really fun song to play.

Meh. 17... 71... who cares? It's all about livin' life to the fullest. Thanks for checking it out AGP.
Always love a good tutorial Poorness!, nice old song from the days of Hippies and Flower Power, but at that time as a 17yr old, I was still Rockin' with Stones, and still am today, even though the age number has been reversed to a 71yr old. :-D
Ah. So you guys play it in C instead of D. That makes sense. It is a fun song.
This is a fun song Kale and the key is the strum/mute you demonstrated which makes it sound cool.
Because the muting technique is easiest with a 1-finger bar chord the song is even easier with all fretted 1-finger bar chords. That’s how the Slingers do it starting with C and the fretted walk down starts at the 12th fret: G F# F in our 4 chord version.
You have all the specifics in your tutorial to master this crazy song electrical bananas and all!
Mad not Made... stupid autocorrect
Luckily she's just made about you too Unc.
