    This is and old video of what a "stainless hob" cover sound like !... I will try and do a comparison video on the same guitar as it would be realy interesting....I have a sunken top parlour these all fit on, and work a treat and dont kill the action, as the top is already dropped down. (This is using silk and steels)

    The big one above uses I think bronze martin strings.... its an old russian Guit I got for £14 and it smells!

    with a bolt off neck....(ie it dont go back on afterwards!)

    Cheap and thin is good and old guitars too...
    Vintage tin is the thing!
    I've tried ,dog bowl,cat bowl,scale bowl,hob top,stainless dish ....etc
    I dun em all..... and this ones a good un!
