    Thank you all SO much for your kind words!! I hope the energy gets out there to those who need it! Regarding the flute, it was a scrap piece from a previous instrument. The hole placement was guessed at, not following a placement chart, which would be the "correct" way to do it. It turned out surprisingly well for something just thrown together. CHEERS!

    My question is, how do you know where to drill the finger holes so as to ensure proper notes?  Is there a standard measurement for flutes?  You flute really sounds good.
