  • Say, when you say "short scale" how short is short? 17" is my guess but maybe it is smaller?

  • Thanks for the kind comments. Nylon strings for banjos arent all that common but they do have a nice vintage tone. Originally they would have been cat gut. A company called Aquila make "Nylgut" - Nylon strings with the properties of cat gut, great, deep melow sound for fretless but they dont last too long with fretted.
