Sound sample of Eunice the reso-uke, first with nylon strings then with steel strings. I think the steel sounds better, what do you think?

  • 306673933?profile=originalLike the snappy tune!! Also like both ways... first is old simple timey sounding...steel has quite a cleaner clear sound to it....maybe steel but I have to say either way for me....Meow^..^

  • Nice work buddy keep up the cool builds

  • Nice play Korrigan. A big sound out of that little guit.

  • Thanks guys.

  • i changed mine (Rezzo uke) from nylon to steel, and its great when you like to slide the uke, steel ring much nice'r

    cool build Korigan !

  • Very nice!

    Yep, steel!

  • Yup.  She is a loveable keeper.  You have a nice relaxed but perky, bluesy sound.   I liked  the nylon sound.   But steel wins, no doubt.

  • Nice instrument and performance!  Steel has nice loud and bright tone, but nylon is also good.

  • Well played both ways, but steel string tone fits and makes that beauty  more lively!

  • I guess I could install a piezo then acoustic volume wouldn't be an issue. I just really don't  feel like taking it apart again. lol
