  • Fantastic job and thanks for sharing. I like the song and the tune.
I made a couple of onestrings but i never realized you could do that boogie back-and-forth kind of thing with the open string and the second fret. Like you do at one point.
  • Gooooooood

  • Nice sliding! Especially for the first try. Let sleeping dogs lie!

  • That would be awesome Les. Maybe even just some of those riffs you were playing. It's an original song about a personal experience so no lesson on how to play the song. I try to play blues slide myself so just wondering what notes you were tying together in the order you put them. I'm usually around the 3rd, 5th, 7th and 12th but never sound as good as you did. Thanks for sharing this with us anyway and I look forward to more videos from you soon.

  • Thanks for all the kind comments and encouragement .  Happy to do a lesson if you want me to.

  • That is GOOD slide.  Oh, it is just one string.  Sure sounded like more.   Yup, that finger drag is essential.   Good slide use review.

Too bad about your wife getting bit.   Good blues.

  • Sorry, typing as we were listening to the video. Hope Jenny is okay. Dani said poor doggy having to live in the yard. Hope they're both okay anyway.

  • Any lesson on how to play this in the pipeline?

  • For someone who doesn't play slide I reckon you've knocked that one out of the park. Loved it. I quite liked those overtones you got and think they can work well on blues sometimes. Les, you're a star and very talented too. Shame you're so far away is all. I'd love to chill with you and jam a little. I could take the rhythm and leave the melody to the master :D
