  • Hey, guys. Sorry about taking so long to respond. A couple of years ago, I went through a phase building small cigar box amps, and also modding old radios to be guitar amps. At some point, I came across a bunch of old radios that didn’t work, and I salvaged what I could, including the speaker, and just did whatever I could with ‘em. I know that isn’t much to go on, but I was learning and experimenting...and just didn’t take the time to detail everything like I should have. So, I know this speaker came out of a radio...but I haven’t figure out yet what kind. It’s obviously small, since it fits in the cigar box... and I do see the word FOSTER on it. I’d really like to get more of these if I can find out where it originated from. I made several amps...but this one just really stood out as something special.
