  • Lou, I would be honored.

Thanks, Andries.  I think this is in the top 3 or 4 of songs I've written.  This song is from last year and was on last year's Christmas album.

  • If  ya dont mind, I`m gonna play your song at our churches Christmas program.

  • Thanks, Steve!   No yoke.

  • Deuteronomy 22:10

"Thou shalt not plow with an ox and an ass together."

    2 Corinthians 6:14
"Do not be yoked together with unbelievers. For what do righteousness and wickedness have in common? Or what fellowship can light have with darkness?"

    Merry Christmas, Smilin' Jack

  • Thanks, Gus.  Some would laugh at me for saying this, but I think I had some help from above in writing this one.  The verse about the ox and ass is not biblical as far as I recall, but I like it in there.   Merry Christmas to the Gusenheimers.

  • Yessir, this is good stuff right here. Dig it.

  • LOL, Muddy.  Watch for lightning strikes.    Me too, Wes.     Thanks, Stephen.

  • Great Christmas ballad John.

  • Beautiful song! When I first heard this, I was doing something else and not paying close attention. When you sang 'The Angel told the shepherds have no fear' I swear you said 'the angel told the shepherds have a beer!' I thought maybe it was a redneck Christmas song.
