I was stationed in Austin, TX 1972 for a year before going to SEAsia. The music influences shaped me forever.

  • Thank you Bob! Sounds like you have first hand knowledge living there in Texas. Some of my favorite music was probably local bands playing in the clubs, who knows! I do remember seeing The Animals, Lee Michaels, War, and one of my favorites, J.J.Cale &Leo Koecke(?) while I was there. Appreciate it Bob!

  • Loved it! Perfect music to go along with a pictorial review of Texas' influence on Rock & Roll and the Blues.

  • Thanks for coming along for the bull ride Derek! To old to croon, but I crow well. Very nice of you, thank you!

  • Good rock & roll romp. Fine guitar and crooning. :)

  • If it has a beat, it has a heart. Thank you very much AGP, I really appreciate it!

  • Yep! Richard, no matter what sort of Music Genre one likes to call it, "It Sounds Great"  :-)

  • Thank you Shane! Rock and roll, blues, it’s all the same to me....at least with a ten gallon cowboy hat on!
