  • Thank you all for your kind words.

Uncle John - Thanks for clarifying the meaning of the Lightning. Never fully understood the meaning. Bill is not attending. Possibly in the future we will take the act on the road. The plan is to eventually record a CD.

Mike - I am tuned in Vestapol aka Open D tuning, although I tune down a whole step for my voice to the key of C (CGCegc).

  • Wonderful sound guys! (-:
  • excellent!! what tuning ya using????????
  • Sounding good guys.  Lopes along so nice.  Good to hear the lyrics a bit more clearly than Wolf sang them.  Wish I could be in York listening to this one.  Is Mr. Bill going with you?

Wolf said the song was inspired by watching trains in the night: "We used to sit out in the country and see the trains go by, watch the sparks come out of the smokestack. That was smokestack lightning."
  • Very nice sound and playing. Great to hear how it should be done. Thanks.
