One of the many ways I play one of my favourite Blues Tunes, Mississippi Fred McDowell’s “You Gotta Move”, was quite chuffed when I nailed it on the first take, BUT!, it wasn’t until I trimmed it, that I realised the “Village Idiot” (Moi), had, as he has so often done before, left the “Bloody Pedestal Fan” beside the Camera on!, so there is background wind blowing into the Mike, just pretend I’m outside! :-D

  • ACES!!!

  • "Thanks Poorness", one of three V Types I've done, and love 'em all. :-)

Obviously not all visible in the Video, but I just counted 58 Gits hanging, racked and lying about in my Jam Space, with another forty plus stashed away in the wardrobes out of sight. :-D

  • Nice playing AGP and love the V. I love seeing your jam space with all the gits everywhere.

  • "Thanks Derek", for the generous comments, muchly appreciated, especially coming from such a talented musician as yourself.  :-)

  • Nice beefy tone on this build, Alan. Stylish V looks great. Nice playing to boot.

  • "Thank Ya Kindly James O", I'm pretty happy with this particular build! :-)

  • "Thanks UJ", Love the "Rumbly Growl" description, something my family accuse me of doing a lot

    :-D

  • "Thanks Andries", Third V Type build I've done, all a bit different, and I luv 'em all

No!, not Gold Foil Pups, they're two 7.5k Mini Humbuckers as per the Pic, and played through the first Amp I ever bought, a "40W Fender Mustang II Modeling Amp", using my fave grunge setting, Green British 80's, which I believe is based on a Marshall JCM 800, with Gain Full, Vol Full, Treble Zero, Bass Full & Master Vol to suit. :-)

  • "Thanks Denbo", would have, at some time over the years, played it on every Git I've ever built, first tune I learnt after catching the CBG Bug, was then, and still is one of my Fave's, and Shhh also, I did treat myself, and purchased two 6 String Reso's this year, but as yet haven't put enough time getting my fingers around the extra three strings :-)
