A quick Amplified Sound Sample of AGP #228, of a former Shetland Gue Build, I converted into a 5 String Lyre. Not sure how your supposed to play these things, looked on Utube, but couldn’t find too much info on them, I think your supposed to just make it up as you go along, which is exactly what I did here, it’s just a little bit of AGP Noodlin’, that sort of fell off my fingers, or to be more precise, in this case, my Thumb. :-D

"Thanks Doug", can't find any Tabs or Lessons for the 5 String Lyre, and not sure if its possible to come with a Song/Tune, with only the 5 notes, D E F# A B ?? :-)
"Thanks t-belly", Yep!, well worth the the effort to build one, they're a fun little instrument to play around with, this one is the first of four recent lyre builds, which I'll post over the next few days, and because this particular one has the nicest and loudest Unplugged Acoustic Qualities, it's my favourite. :-)

Thanx for looking and commenting Poorness, muchly appreciated :-)
"Thanks A.D.", the Shetland Gur/Lyre Build is only 7 years old, but the person playing it is pretty Ancient. ;-D
"Thanks James O", Its a much nicer instrument now, than it was as a "2 String Bowed Shetland Gue" :-)
Sure looks and sounds pretty!
Sounds really good. Looks like a project is coming my way! ;)
Looking and sounding good AGP.
