A Simple Turnaround for IVI Guitars.Works on GDG, DAD, CFC, EBE, tunings and etc. This one is tuned GDg.You play 3 triplets: (1,2,3s)(1) (A) fret the middle string above the 3rd fret –pluck it(B) pluck the small string(C) do A again --- that is one triplet(2) (A) move up to the 2nd fret of the middle string(B) do the triplet there(3) (A) Move up to the first fret of the middle string(B) do the triplet there.(4) strum all 3 strings. This is a good & simple opening and /or closing to songs. Can be used between verses of a song.--Can also follow up with:(A) thump the big string open(B) thump the big string fretted at the 3rd fret----Can also follow up with:(A) strum all 3 strings open(B) strum all 3 strings fretted at the 3rd fret---Grin your blues grin. Have some fun.

  • Cool and helpful.

  • Awesome! I've been looking for something like this.

  • Thanks Wes and BenBob.     Hey, I got a quick lesson too.   The 5-5-5, 6-6-6, 7-7-7 is a nice variation.

  • Nice I like the super-short lesson idea. Can be followed up with a 5-5-5, 6-6-6, 7-7-7 too.
