I've liked this song for a long while but never tried to play it because I lack the skills to do it like Guy Davis or Mississippi Fred. But after a recent CBN discussion about making songs your own and not trying to duplicate someone else's sound - well here is a first draft of th song. I may come back to it and try it later.

There’s more Guy Davis in you than you think Uncle. Making songs your own shows great respect to the original, and adds your strengths and personality to manifest a current rendition of a great classic song. At least that’s what I tell myself, and it’s a whole lot of fun. Highway 61, two takes, two different perspectives, two different guitars, twice the fun! It’s a breath mint....it’s a candy. Yes! It’s Uncle!
