Thanks for the positive feedback on this one Kale! I do like doing the signature riff; it is fun!!! We used to do it more regularly pre COVID when we met together monthly but we lost some Slingers when we started Zooming and as I recall one of them chose this song frequently. I thought it was time bring it back.
Appreciate the kind words A.D. and AGP! 25 or 6 to 4 works surprisingly well on a CBG. I actually heard Chicago in concert, unfortunately, the mix was seriously off that night. Our High School stage band played this number at every basketball game. Brings back fond memories!
"Yeah Doug & Slingers", this song lends itself nicely to a Cigar Box Guitar, will definitely be having a look at adding it to my small repertoire of tunes. :-)

Cool Rich! It’s a fun and easy riff to play. I think this is the highest we play up the neck on any of our songs.
This is the first repeat riff I ever 'learned' on a one string.
I never played it that high up on the neck.
Thanks Uncle John! The Slingers keep me on my toes
Man, you are prolific! Good too.
Thanks t-belly! We will try to keep it interesting.

Chicago sounds really good on a CBG... or maybe it's just you Doug. Either way... that was fun.
