Caught the winner of the unique veterans signature Swamp Witch Guitar donated by anonymous pick for the Six String Heroes Of Jefferson Barracks (501c). It raised $270 pre fest and doubled that during the festival. A happy winner and great cause!

"Wow, did we have a blast yesterday at the Cigar Box Festival. I'm going to thank some people and I'm sure I'll leave someone out... but here goes... Gary Herget... Steven Miles, Jim Saraceno, Swamp Witch guitars, Justin Johnson, Russ, Big Dave Corbitt, Steve Stoner, Mole, Bob "Chet" Ritter, Don Shrum. This event always renews my faith in humanity. Random people handing me money for veterans, builders at the event donating guitars for us to auction or raffle... They walk up, hand you the guitar... "this is for the vets"... and walk away. Too cool. The Swamp Witch folks making and donating a FANTASTIC guitar, signed by first responders and veterans from the US and Canada... heck, the case was as nice as the guitar!! All donated. Hearts of gold. Jim Saraceno bringing in a bunch of cigar boxes, selling them all day then giving us the money... wow. Just wow. Army Combat Vet Mike Camerer and his buddies from the Honor Flight talking about their cause... I went home beat like a dog and slept with a big smile on my face. More thank you's to come as I find my random notes. Thank you to the cigar box guitar folks for inviting us again. They are a talented, fun bunch and just knocked it out of the park for SSH and veterans. They have an incredible knack for integrating our cause into their incredible day. :^) Good wins again. – ks . ....(EDIT ) ..I found my notes..... Pam Martin, Jerry Timsen and Joe Sears also donated guitars and accessories for auction. :^)) Super generous folks doing great things for veterans."
I saw the quality of the case, I knew the guitar would be something! It was! I'd be wanting to get home and play that myself. Good deed for a good cause AP!
Thank you for the kind words Jim! I'd like to add that on the day of fest, everyone reaches out to help out the next guy so it feels family connected here. This guitar of picks has some miles on it and so many people involved in it's signatures and circulation, that's why I stopped this guy to give him the deeper back story so when he holds it, he understands the significance.
