I must admit when I first started putting 6 string necks on cohiba boxesI didn't know anything about stick through design or 3 string guitars. But over the past 5 years seeing and listening to what you peoplebuild and play here it's amazing what can be done with so little. This one is for me25 in. scale Rosewood & Mahogany Grover mini tuners (the picture has mismatched, one was dead) Heavy Acoustic string tuned DAD I recorded it just plugged int...

RTZ - very nice! Sweet little build - I like the piezo rod mounted between the thru-neck and the sound board. Is it just wedged in there, glued...? Makes a very clean look from the outside!
Thanks everyone, the capacitor on the input is a treble bleed of sorts. The high signal is what causes most the feedback on this kind of pickup, works on a disk too but a disk is a disk. With the cap I can turn the volume up all the way on my peavey 15 watt on clean channels without it only a bit passed halfway. High gain amp setting still feedback but I'm getting better usable tone.
Stewmac sells volume treble bleeds with a resistors on them.
Fender used caps on the volume pots of old Tele's because single coils sounded harsh but that had something to do with the amp too.

Well done in every way,. RTZ.
RTZ is da man
Great sound. What do you use - is it a resistor at the output ? What is its function - is it cuts any frequency ?
